Well, first off, no one can help you unless they see what you are already capable of. Meaning, a sample post of your abilities If no one else wishes to help you, I would be glad to help in any way I can.

A good way to start is without self-criticism ;3 It's nice to recognize that you need improvement, but really, all it takes is practice. I'd suggest going around the dream and playing with others as much as you feel fit to. Others can help you fix up an example of one of your posts here, but being able to fix up your own posts successfully requires experience =3

Ah, no one starts out perfect. ^_^ It's true that practice makes perfect, but not just practice. What helped me with my roleplay is reading many, many books and remembering some of the words they use and descriptions. Lengthen your posts by using deep descriptions, and trust me, you will get much better. I would love to roleplay with you some time in the dream to help you out. I started out really bad in my first roleplays. You can study the techniques other roleplayers use and try them yourself. You'll go very far with it, I know. I wish you the best of luck in your roleplays! -Amaha Akusamika-

Cetan has a few tips.
Remember the basic rules of RP.
the 3:1 rule (meaning you can only dodge 3 attacks from your enemy in a row before you must take the 4th attack(Full damage)
try to be descriptive
Try not to use a thesaurus for your posts. It makes things confusing. For example:
A simple, very good, descriptive sentence like this
"The female heaved with a sigh as she engaged all her energy into lifting herself from the ground. She was exhausted from the day's brutal fight, and her open wounds weren't helping ease the pain."
Gets twisted into something like this
"Femme undulated with a suspire as she inked all her forcefulness into orbiting from the terra. She was stertorous from the diurnal course's barbarous fisticuff, and her vacated vex wasn't succoring the travail."
with the second sentence, whoever you're RPing with now needs to break out a dictionary/thesaurus and spend 15 minutes trying to understand what was just said.
Otherwise, try to be logical, and its up to you to use your own style. Try to be creative too. Especially when fighting, its dangerous to use the same attack too often.
Hope that helps a little...and yeah, I posted this the day before AWW opens, I happened to be on the board, and had nothing else to do. xP
