STABLE PLOT(the never changing basics/history):
Humans are reckless creatures, they are polluted with hate and blinded by greed. They want more than they have, and when they get it they are not satisfied. They have endured two world wars and have not learned from them... and then plunged into a 3rd: a nuclear war. The land was devastated, burned, and plagued with death. Little survived the devastation. The air was covered in black seeping smog, it became known as the "Mistlands". The surviving creatures were charred beyond recognition due to chemical burns. New frightening species evolved to better survive in the environment. Among them was Shaja(Shah-yah). Before the war he was an arctic wolf thriving in the northern regions of the world. When the war came to Greenland he ran over the frozen waters to northern Canada. The lands there were already destroyed by the nuclear war. He was attacked by some vicious candid that was infected with something that looked like mange. It was a large animal, and left Shaja for dead. It later collapsed, blood oozing from every pore. It had been infected with the (*)Thylin virus. Shaja dragged his tattered body, trying to find a refuge. His open wounds were burned by the chemical waste left on the ground. Blood started seeping out of his pores, the first effects of the Thylin virus. The nuclear remnants mixed with his virus filled blood. Immobilized, Shaja lay on the soil, jerking in pain as the two agents became one in his body. His legs lengthened, vertebrae protruded out of his back, stained a black color. Darkness soon surrounded the beast... When Shaja woke up in 13 days, he was not the same wolf. There was new strength in his body, one that he had never felt before. But when he saw his reflection in a puddle of stagnant water, he was devastated. He had become something terrifying. Frightened by what he has become he ran off to the west, sceneries of death accompanied him wherever he went. Somewhere on the far north west edge of the Nunavut Province in Canada, he came across a dying black wolfess. He had seen many creatures die in his travels, but there was something about her intense emerald eyes that stopped him from walking away. He saw a fire in them, a will to live. Her back was snapped in half, her spine ripping through her back in four places, rats and insects fed on her decaying flesh yet she still lived. Shaja approached the fae and bit into her flesh, hoping that either she will become one like him or be put out of her misery. She mutated, she became faster than she had and grew much larger. They traveled together until they reached a snowy oasis in Alaska. They found refuge there and went their own separate ways. Narkili formed her own pack which dominated the woodlands. Shaja crossed the ice bridge to Asia and disappeared for 400 years.
Narkili's packed thrived in the woodlands, although she outlived every member, she chose select wolves to be creatures like herself and form the "Cult of Shaja". The Thylin outbreak has swept over the lands and left without a trace. Many wolves died from the disease, but the woodlands is regrouping.

It is the middle of winter and a great famine has killed out many of the land's inhabitants. Whole packs were simply wiped out. Things are starting to return to balance and now is the time to regroup...
