Notice the red bar on the top of your screen? Well thats not just for decoration! It is you character's health. This bar's primary purpose is to make roleplay fights more realistic, this is how it works:
There are 3 main types of hits. Level one, two, and three:
Level 1: Minor; small scratches, bites, torn fur, lost teeth/claws, etc
Level 2: Moderate; larger non-fatal wounds, minor fractures, sprains, etc
Level 3: Major; potentially fatal gaping wound, broken bones, dislocated/torn off appendages, etc
The levels are represented by: level 1: x1, level 2: x2, level 3: x3
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Example roleplay:(Simplified)
Narkili, angered by the other wolf, extended her paw and scratched.
This would be a level one hit (If taken and not dodge, remember the 3:1 dodge ratio from the rp rules). So whomever Narkili has scratched must say "x1" (no quotations) to receive the hit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Dying:
When your health bar goes all the way down you are not immediately taken to heaven. This is because you have to make your final roleplay post that shows your character dying.
Ex) Narkili shrieked like a little girl and fell to the ground, lifeless and salivating.
You can even make your character lay down for emphasis, so that it resembles a "dead" body. You can lay on the ground as long as you like and be dead, but the moment you try to walk your spirit is taken to heaven. Then you must say !respawn to get back to earth.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Resurrect:
Some packs will have healers who will have the ability to "resurrect" your character. By doing so your character will come back ICly so that you dont have to create a new IC character.
If no one resurrects you when you die(in rp only) you will have to make a new character to roleplay with. You can still use your old one OOC but not IC anymore.
