As of 6/23/2012, I'm putting a new rule into effect involving the Special Character Applications: The Veto Act.
This Act states that if a player is found to be misusing their applications in any way (i.e., using a 'decoration' as a weapon), their Special Character Application is subject to be Vetoed.
This means that their application will be opened for Re-Evaluation (R.E.'d), where it will be considered once more for Acceptance or Rejection.
In addition to this new rule, there are some stipulations as to when an application will be subjected to the Veto Act.
-If a player is found to be using their character in any other way than listed on their application, be it by a staff member or another patron, logs must be provided in this thread, along with an explanation of how the character was abusing their application.
-The accuser MUST alert a staff member (not Trial) immediately if one is available.
-The accuser MUST fill out the request skeleton below, either in this thread or in a Private Message to a Staff Member (If you must message because you wish to remain anonymous, messaging Zaeddyn is your best bet for a swift response.)
A sample request for an Application Veto is shown here:
Below are a list of reasons an application might be Vetoed.
-Using a decoration as a weapon
-Adding weapons/armor to their character, such as
>the addition of spikes
>the addition of armor (of any kind)
>the addition of poison
>changes in size or weight
>the addition of special abilities
-Using body parts (i.e, a long tail) as a weapon (i.e, throwing things or picking up another player)
-Powergaming (i.e, claiming to be so much stronger than the other player so there is no chance of being defeated)
-A character suddenly becoming much stronger than stated in their application
-Ignoring their characters weaknesses
-Misuse of size or weight
If a player feels that there is a reason for an application to be Vetoed that is not listed above, that reason must be stated in their post/message.
