{Holy crap, a RP that doesn't have to do with night time/isn't taking place at night! Hurray for origionality! }
Cetanwakuwa, dark stormy and onyx hued warrior awoke with a yawn. She had fallen asleep on the pile of rocks in the middle of the North Star territory. The river was frozen, the bubbling sound that was heard in the spring and summer was nonexistant. Instead, it was replaced with a defening silence. Cetan finished stretching before standing at full height. She looked around, scanning the distant treeline and surrounding woodland. The North Star den was just a short distance to the west, but she wasn't sure that the den was where she wanted to go right now. She looked to the east, squinting, she tried to avoid looking directly at the sun which was just rising over the treetops.
Cetan wondered what the rest of the pack was doing. She was tempted to assemble them for a patrol, get the pack together, but calling out went against her nature and her personal gut instinct. Instead she leapt off the rock, and headed south. She would head south, then west. She had to make a great leap across the river in one spot where it wasn't frozen. She crossed the west border of the territory, and continued along at a slow walk. She was not hungry. She wasn't full. She was energized, and was enjoying her walk, taking in her surroundings. She decided, against her better judgment to call out and see who was around.
She let out a high pitched call, three sharp notes, the last one longer than the rest so that the sound carried through the brisk air. She settled on her haunches wondering if anyone was around. Friend, foe, neither or both. She was simply curious, and slightly bored.
