Ivory gently floated down from the cloudy gray pillows hovering about from above; the beautiful ray of light was blocked for warming the woodlands of Alaska. It had been this way for ages, until the Great Eclypse, and including the rebirth. But it had returned.
The wintery wonderland brought back memories of the demon's childhood; horrible memories, in fact. Alasa had grown up on the edges of North Star as a rogue, like her older sister, Fenqxia, and her parents, Braveheart and Aurora. After Alasa had began to eat nothing but solid foods, Aurora had disappeared, ruthlessly murdered by a family enemy, Kaipo. Braveheart stepped out to find his mate, leaving his daughters in the den, and he too was killed. Alasa, that next night, barged out into a storm to find them, but she had only separated herself from her sister.
A year later, Alasa joined North Star, finding Fenqxia already resting among the pack. Slowly ajusting to the packlife within North Star, Alasa had come to meet many friends - for instance, Cetanwakuwa, meaning attacking hawk. And then, going through all the land formations, she too had fought Kaipo with the power of the demon, and unlike her parents, she was not killed.
Alasa stood among a large boulder, over-looking the frozen stream below her. She narrowed her hazel irises, ivory auds flattening against her cranium. She glared at the faint reflection evilly. Her tassel was low behind her haunches, hackles raised. The wind gently combed through her ebony cloaked coating, the shadows biting away at Alasa's soul.
Her talons raked across the edges of the rough surface beneath her heavy frame. Silver-painted limbs held her high as she continued to glare at the frozen waters, as well scanning her pack's area.
Alasa had been out on patrol, but something else was troubling her. How could she be sure these lands had truly returned? Things were slowly ajusting from the distruction it had took before. Alasa traveled forest-to-forest when she was separated from her packmates, when stolen away by Twolegs. She found them, and they made their way back to Alaskan Wolven Woodlands. As any other North Star member was happy, Alasa wasn't too excited.
She couldn't count on these woodlands support anymore. And now, that the lands were back, that meant Kaipo could easily find her again, unless he figured she had died...
But Alasa did not fear her enemy anymore; his attempts failed, for Alasa was bulky and larger than most wolves. She was a demon. Nevertheless, Kaipo had pushed her off a miniature waterfall, and Alasa had received many injuries.
But she was getting back into the events that happened moons ago... but she would never forget the life she had lived; the awful one she bared.
