[Thank you! :B]
Furry back stiff, Nythedra gradually stretched, the cracking of bones ringing in the night air. The colossal wolf, or giantess, as Nyth liked to call her, had bounded away, probably seeking new prey. Brown orbs glimmered with amusement as fae recalled that a few minutes ago, a wolf frightened away a moose, most likely the prey that the giantess was about to take down. Frozen flakes poured down on Nyth, causing the usually gentle femora to whirl swiftly around and cause such a clatter. Jowls parted to emit a barely audible growl as Nyth noticed her mistake, immediately dropping back down with a soft thump. In the far distance, a crack rang loudly. Dome snapped up, auds alert while muscles tightened. Minutes later, the giantess padded back, a satisfied expression on visage. Femme's obsidian orbs followed behind the giantess and widened as she clearly saw a deer carcass being dragged. Nythedra could barely suppress a growing respect for the giantess; being able to single-handedly take down a deer.
[Ack, not much to say since I'm not in league with anyone. Well, surroundings, prepare to be described!]

Cetan hadn't noticed the unknown wolf trailing her. She had been much too preoccupied attempting to feed for the first time in days. She continued to tred through the snow. She wasn't silent as she normally was. In fact, she wasn't even close to quiet. 'The entire forest must hear me' she thought, mildly irritated that she was quiet and hidden as she normally was. Between her stomping through the crunchy snow, and the deer leaving a path where she dragged it, she couldn't hear much of anything. She had her vision and sense of smell, but her temorary deaf situation left her feeling slightly anxiouse.
She didn't really know why she was worried about not being able to hear. Who on earth would try to take her meal? Nobody, that's who. Certainly not in North Star's own territory for sure. Regardless, she paused, letting the deers bloody neck drop to the snow below her. Her head and ears swiveled, nose quivering as she attempted to catch a sign of anything. She saw no movement in the darkness, and so sunk her teeth into the deer and continued dragging it along. She was closer to the den now. She hoped everyone was ready for a nice meal. She decided that the next time she decided to hunt, she wouldn't wait till she was starving. Perhaps in a day or two she could try to take out a moose. Not a bull of course. Bulls were for group hunting.

A low growl reverberated deep within the throat. Young fae had completley misplaced the goal of finding shelter, and the infinite downpour of snow was the punishment. With no knowledge of anything about the lifestyle of the giantess, Nyth quitely bounded after her, in hope that she would lead her to some sort of shelter. Mitts shook consistently, sometimes frozen above terra in attempt to warm them as frostbite nearly kicked in. Fae, weary with exhaustion, almost dropped to the ground. Without warning, a strong scent of wolves smacked Nyth in the face. A pack! Nyth silently cursed. Abrubtly stopping, nogan weighed the decisions. Fae was already in a pack, so if members discovered her, she would most likely be caught in an unwanted brawl. But being lost is just as bad. Can't howl; stranger wolves would definitely hear. Nyth could dash away, but where would she go...
Even though she didn't notice, the edge of the unknown territory was just a pawstep away. Letting loose another low growl, fae swiveled in exasperation and padded away.

Cetan had begun to move again, but thought she heard a growl. Was she really suprised? At first a lone wolf with a deer seemed like easy pickings, though upon further examination, she wasn't just any old lone wolf with a feast in her jaws. She dropped the dear again, head snapping around to try and spot what or who exactly had been following her. There was no movement for a few seconds, but then she spotted easily in the darkness, another wolf bounding away and over the territory line and into the night. Cetan contemplated going after her. She hadn't eaten too much, as she never did in case a fight arose. She would love to chase after this strange wolf. Just for fun since she was no longer hungry. But she hesitated. She couldn't leave her meal...
Snorting quietly into the night, a puff of vapor from her massive snout would punctuate her descision. She grabbed the deer by the neck and continued the last of the distance to the den. Upon arrival, she didn't spot anyone in particular. She would have thought Rayton would've come back after their encounter earlier. Strange. She paused, trying to pick up any living thing around her before proceeding into the den. The weather had turned downright nasty after she had made her kill. Cetan's coat was now saturated with wet snow. Her dark form, and the bloody meal she dragged dissapeared into the pitch black entrance of the den. Perhaps her pack was inside where it was warmer.

Nyth mentally kicked herself. How could she have been so stupid, so careless? With growls like that, she was sure to have set off an alarm. Whipcord thrashed in frustration and resentment. Suddenly, without warning, femme froze in her tracks, then darted towards a nearby bush that was blessed enough to survive the winter frost. Nyth fought back another growl, forcing herself to relax. Someone, or something had seen her and she couldn't take any chances. Mitts pressed into the snow and talons clawed up a fistful, turning it into a crudely made snowball. Zephyrs sensed that she had indeed left the territory, and danger was most definitrly past, but wolves might still come after her. Obsidian orbs gazed skywards; the canopy of leaves, which wasn't much of of a canopy since most of the leaves had blown away, served a bit of shelter from the rapidly falling snow. Young Nythedra had no other choice but to use this as a makeshift home for the night. She curled up into a gray, puffed up ball and slowly fell asleep.
