Dont ask about the subject.. it just popped up in my head. Anyone can join Amory Padded out of the public den. His Black mittens hit the white snow repeatedly in the same rthym. He was all black except for his underbelly which was gray. He hadnt usually came outside of the den at this time of night.. but he was hungry and wanted to kill a deer. He walked through the woods. He found nothing bones and remains of a dead deer. He lowered his cranium and sniffed the remains and then shook his head. They must have been old. He raised his cranium and howled to the moon. he wondered if there was any other wolves out at the moment he was. If their were he wondered if they had any luck on finding deer and rabbits at night. He shrugged and sat down and listened for another wolves howl. Kinda cheesy ): Well reply please. xD im bored

Dark stormy and onyx demon warrior was wide awake. Night was her favorite time to be active. She moved like a shadow through the icy landscape, suprisingly quiet considering her size. She too was on the prowl, but had yet to even cross the scent of anything. Figures. Hunting at night is more difficult. The plant eaters have settled for the night, and so finding a scent trail was hopeless. The only way to find the deer and moose was if you practically stumbled upon them as they slept. Cetan's tail was almost horizontal, drooping slightly, and her head was held about the same level as she moved forward. Her head shot up however, as she heard a howl. Amory? She thought she recognized the voice, though it was hard to tell when he was singing rather than speaking. Any other wolf but Cetan would have responded, but she was one wolf who woudn't draw attention to herself for anything. She instead moved forward towards the cry, and kept an eye out for food as she went. It was cold, but perhaps if a breeze blew the right way she'd catch the scent of a sleeping herd of something.

Amory didnt hear a reply through the woods. He lowered his head to continue to search for food. Yet, Had no luck so far. He sighed and padded forward still on the search. He heard something move in the woods just infront of him. He stopped and crouched down behind the bushes. A large frame had stepped out. He couldnt tell what it was, But he knew it was a little bit bigger than him. ' What is that? Is that Cetan? It looks like her.' He remained quite. He knew it had to be Cetan or Alasa. He shrugged and sat up looking " Cetan? Is that you?" He sat there still wondering and he waited for the familiar frame to reply

[ you can't control my character silly] Cetan continued to trudge through the forest. She everntually got close enough to Amory to catch his scent. He must have caught hers too in the still night air. "Amory." It wasn't a question. She hoped he'd recognize her rather informal, and none-to-polite greeting. "Making quite a racket tonight." Demon warrior's haunches would meet the ground, gaze moved to the bright moon above. Perhaps this moon was the real cause of all this excitment. Even Cetan was feeling rather active, wanting to hunt or kill something. Her attention would turn to the woodland around her, scanning the treeline and brush for signs of life, specifically prey. There had to be some sleeping deer nearby, considering the forest was full of them during the day. Her mind was working towards the goal of food. Thinking, Amory's cry had either warned any prey that there were wolves in the area, or they were frightened, and on the move. Perhaps they could find something now. "Hungry?" Cetan's attention would return to Amory, flashing a rather malicious grin, excitment and the instinct to hunt stirring up a dangerous mix of feeling within the warrior. Cetan was really only able to hunt at night. She loved hunting when she got the chance since it was the only time she could kill without repercussions.

[ xDD i know.. i was just saying.. ]
Amory looked up. He smiled when he heard Cetans voice " Cetan!" He smiled and then padded over towards her. His audits perked up as he heard something move near him. It wasnt Cetan, She was infront of him. He looked at her and shrugged. " That must be a rabbit." His cold voice spoke. He sat down infront of her and nodded slightly " Yes im starving. Havent ate since early this afternoon. And all it was was a small rodent." He frowned as his belly growled. It made the most awful noise he had heard in a while. He began to chuckle as he heard it. He smiled at Cetan, He looked around to scan over the woods with his royal blue orbs. He saw nothing but trees ans shrubs tilting over as the wind blew them. He began to huff and puff. Cold smoke like stuff came out of his nostrils. It was very cold out there. He looked back at cetan and then at the cold ice cracking. He saw that it was cracking down the middle towards him. He stepped out of the way so that the ice would crack underneath him. He sat up and waited for cetans response
[ Dont really ask.]

Cetan nodded, but was hesitant about hunting rabbits. She was fast, and agile, but she would have trouble keeping up with a rabbit as it went sprinting through the undergrowth in the woods due to her size. "You can go after the rabbit if you want. I'm out for some deer, or perhaps a moose." Moose was Cetan's favorite thing to hunt. She could keep up with a moose. They were slow, and just her size. [;D] With that, the warrior would rise, turn, and move off into the darkness at a steady trot. Amory could hunt the rabbit if he pleased, or he could come with her and get a real meal with minimal effort on his part.
[kinda short for me, but to the point ^-^]

Amory looked at her. His royal blue eyes reflecting the stars from the sky. His audits perked up as he heard something run through the woods. " That must of been the rabbit.. It heard us talking." He smiled and then nodded to cetan. He would go hunting with her. He never went hunting with her before, Or to the least he could remeber. He shrugged and walked towards the woods motioning for Cetan to come along. He was ready to kill a deer or moose. He hoped they would see two.. So one could be for cetan and one for amory. He would let Cetan get the biggest deer because of her size. He would take the smaller deer. His Audits perked up as he heard a deer grunt in the woods behind them. He looked at Cetan. The nastyness grin crossed his face. He giggled and then walked back over to cetan. He sat down and watched the woods. He wondered if it was a big buck like he killed about 3 days ago. He remebered how easy it was to kill it,How he leapt on its back and brought it down ontp the ground. He laughed as he thought these things. He quickly covered his mouth with his paw and hoped the deer didnt hear him. He heard a deer grunt, after another Deer Grunt. Maybe this was the night For Cetan And Amory

Cetan heard Amory begin to follow her. She could hear them too now. All the deer that had been asleep around them were stirring and trying to get away inconspicuously. Cetan continued forward through the darkness. Amory seemed to be going after the deer behind them. Cetan was after moose. It would normally take an entire pack to bring down a moose unless if was young, or terribly sick. Cetan could pull it off providing she was quick enough, and didn't falter. She'd have to be careful. Even Cetan wouldn't bother to mess with a full grown healthy moose bull. With any luck she'd find a cow. Cetan heard Amory chuckling behind her. He must have got his deer. Being independent as she was, Cetan would leave him to his kill. If Cetan took something out, she could perhaps summon the rest of her pack to feast. Warrior would continue at a steady trot. She moved strangely silently considering her size. Cetan's one weakness however, was endurance. She couldn't exert a lot of energy for very long at all. She'd have to make her kill quickly if she found something.
She froze where she stood, silver glare locking onto the doe just 20ft away to her left. It hadn't seen her. She blended very well with the night, unfortunately for the deer. She watched for a moment. If she decided to attack something, she'd only have one quick shot to make a kill, or she would either have to regain her breath and try again(in which case she'd be even more tired than before), or wait for her packmates to hunt for her. She hesitated. Was it worth it? This doe looked perfectly healthy. Then, Cetan noticed as another doe rose. She had been laying behind a small pile of snow. Unfortunately, now that they were both up and paying attention, the odds of Cetan being able to sneak past both were very slim. She continued forward on the game path she was on.
She soon found herself near the south border of the North Star territory. She wondered if any of her packmates were out and about tonight as well. She was just inside the rocky border, gaze seeking into the darkness for the den entrance. It was too far off for even her to see. She turned, leaping up onto the rocky border. She spotted something to the south near the edge of the lake. What's this? She leapt down on the other side, heading towards the lake and her possible target.
{Sorry, I got WAAAYYYY too into it xD. and idk, I think someone else needs to post too >( RAYTON! SAINT! SOMEON!}

Whats the point of sitting here again? Hmm... Hmmmmmmm.... Impudent 'mutt' sat on the cold ground. Perhaps a quarter or more of his ear missing. "Thanks Saint," He'd mutter, baring his teeth to the empty wall of black. Flexing his muscles he sat up, continuing to stare into the night. There was movement every where. Though it seemed almost all his senses were useless; all except his sight. His nose felt numb. "Thanks Saint," Said he, again. Rayton growled at the thought of that... Pathetic Red.. The point is, the last thing Ray wanted was Saint to be a demon. Of course he didn't see Saint as fit, infact he didn't see anyone that was more fit then he was, but that wasn't the case this time. He had a new tone of hatred in his words. This new tone, was pure hatred and darkness. Never in his life had Ray felt so mad. Behemoth scanned the blackness again; unknown figures moving. As the wind shifted slightly, a scent caught nose. "Cetan?"

Cetanwakuwa continued towards the lake, but soon her movements slowed, and she moved lower to the ground to avoid being spotted. This area to the south of the North Star border was very open. The grass, luckily, was tall enough to conceal both preditor and prey in the spring. Cetan had to be extra careful. In such open terrain, she probobly wouldn't be able to get close without being spotted. Luckily she had speed, but one chance to make a kill. The fact that there was nothing but a flat snowy field here didn't help things.
The Warriors silver gaze drifted quickly along the lake edge. She did a double take before making out the massive frame of an adult moose bull. Cetan wanted nothing more than the challenge of taking down something so huge. She could barely make herself remain where she was. She had to think it through. Was it worth it? She could get seriously injured all too easy trying to take something this large down by herself. The bull didn't look like he was going anywhere...'Hmm'
Cetan headed back over the North Star border, not wanting to be so close that she frighten the moose. She lifted her head to the sky, and for the first time in ages let out a howl which carried with a piercing, yet mournful ring through the bitter night air. Her song carried her usual angsty tone, but with an underlying note of excitement. She hoped this would bring her pack. If that didn't, the sheer inpossibility of her actually singing out might spark their curiocity. If nobody came within a few minutes, she'd move on and find something less risky to slaughter.
She settled down on her stomach on one of the boulders which marked the North Star pack's southern border, and waited...

"Under the deepest of sorrows,
Such a noise would be her. I wonder... In a few seconds the bastard was slinking through the night. Russet colorations decoracted his back; While black danced amongst everything else creating his based color. Silver of the flaring moonlight washed his underbelly up to his chin. Meeting a small bit of brown under his eyes before reaching catlike pupils deeply marred into a bright yellow.
With a few more strides he came to a great wall of stone. Long limbs extended. Like a pitbull he suddenly dropped, muscles tensing as he began to pull himself up the rocks. Claws scratched the side of the rocks as Ray leapt once more, landing on the top. His throne aloft of rocky domain. "Cetty!" Cried Ray, maving a massive paw at her. "Hither I come!" He cackled, before throwing himself at the demoness. His caculations proved wrong as he went over top of her. Another strategy failed. He looked at her. "What did you call for anyway?"
He tilted his head, a 'ballsy' smile crossed his face. "Or do you just want to see Rayray again?" He teased, extending his paw to poke her in the shoulder. "I'm sure you would... and I can't thank you enough for helping me when -------- Forget it. I can't even say his name. It's disgraceful to my tongue." He chuckled, grinning at her. "I'm glad I found you though, I'm hungry, did you catch anything that I can eat?" He questioned all Rayton-like.

Cetan sat, waiting to see if anyone would show up. She began thinking about what and interesting fight she might have if someone unfamiliar to North Star showed up. What fun she could have then. She assumed though, that the odds were only wolves who recognized her call would come. She kept her eyes on the moose bull, who hadn't moved. He was still a ways off by the lake, now grazing on the grass.
Soon enough, the shadowy warrior heard something scrambling over the rock wall. Her head twisted, to see Rayton. She had expected as much, catching his scent and recognizing his heavy pawfalls. Rayton was suddenly making such a racket, that she wished she could cover her ears. As Rayton rambled on for a good minute or so, Cetan sat up slowly, muscles slack for once. She looked pretty chill the way she sat up. Too cool... Her silver gaze followed the moose bull as it tritted away. Cetan's massive skull would turn to Rayton, still the demon seemed so relaxed. She didn't show any signs of acknowledging his comments. She stared at him for a good 30 seconds. The most dangerous thing about Cetan was that she was totally unpredictable. She raised an eyebrow as if amused. What by? Well the hell if Cetan knew, she was too busy mourning the loss of their dinner. The two massive wolves could have probobly brought that moose down. But now it was gone
Without warning, and in the blink of an eye, Cetan whirled on Rayton, jaws aiming for the back of his neck. Cetan, if she got a hold of him, would simply throw him down off of the wall, as if the rock were Narkili's tail. "You idiot! You just scared away a moose bull!" She snarled, her black lip curled to reveal her long sharp inscisors. "Now I have to waste even more time finding food. I'm starving over here!" Teeth would remain bared as she leapt off the rock. She would follow a short distance behind the moose. Maybe he would lead her to more food as he searched for a herd of deer or moose to sleep near for safty tonight.
Cetan trotted off into the night, likely by herself yet again, mumbling under her breath. She didn't care what she hunted anymore. Frustration made her want to kill anything so as to blow off some steam.

[New here at AWW, just posting for fun Sorry if it's too short] Ashen maiden delicately padded across the new, freshly fallen snow. It felt pleasant under her worn pads, numbing the pain of traveling for such a distance. Though wearily seeking shelter for the night, fae fancied a tour around the unfamiliar terrain, the luminous moon serving as light. Nythedra shivered from the cold, despite her thick pelt, and carcass shook, sending the snow cascading down her back. Usually snow was a delight, dancing in the wind like pups tumbling around, teasing you. But this time, it was a burden that fae preferred not to endure. Auds flickered, attempting to isolate any enemy sounds from the usual night ones. What was this? Inquisitive femme lifted dome in alert as a howl shattered the silence. Pillars were a blur as they carried carcass to a tree close to an open area. Though not much to work with, Nythedra's camouflage skills successfully came into play. Nostrils scented two distinct scents and obsidian orbs visualized frames nearby. Nythedra chuckled quietly with amusement as auds clearly picked up boisterous chatter. A gasp that would reveal her position was closely released as the more colossal of the creatures suddenly twisted around with visible rage and aimed for the other figure, an irked conversation beginning. All precautions of camouflage taken care of, Nythedra sunk even lower into the slow, despite the hatred of it tonight, and remained frozen, hoping that no one would find her.

{Welcome to AWW ;D}
Cetan had already put some distance between herself and the North Star territory. The night was no longer young. She had wasted far too much time bickering and chatting with packmates, friends and aquaintences. She held her head, and even her tail horizontal to the ground in an attempt to stay low. She moved east, and turned north heading towards the abandoned bat cave which now appeared to be a den. She was getting towards her packs west border. She didn't hear anyone following her. Rayton had likely stayed behind. She still scented nothing and her frustration was growing considerably, and rapidly.
Finally, she caught the scent of a deer. Her enraged mood faded enough for her to finally focus, and spot the doe up ahead. Her head was buried in the thicket of plants, bushes, scrub and tall grasses. She was totally preoccupied. Deer were fast, and while Cetan was fast and agile for a wolf, deer were quicker. Their fearful flight instinct gave the, the extra adrenalin boost to survive.
Cetan crept forward slowly and silently attempting to keep as low as possible. It was much easier here than back by the lake. Cetan was terribly close. The doe rose her head suddenly. Cetan froze, nose quivering slightly in anticipation. The deer spotted nothing unusual, and so bent her head again and continued grazing. Cetan couldn't sprint the short distance without being heard, and the deer fleeing instantly. Cetan instead took a flying leap, the noise of her takeoff not quite enough to draw the doe's attention. When she landed, the creature was already starting to leap away. Cetan was aiming for it's neck, but caught a back leg. A lucky break. She could have easily snapped her jaws on air.
The deer attempted to struggle, but the one other extreme advantage Cetan had was strength. The deer couldn't match her in that. She held it easily, applying more pressure to her jaws until a sickening snap signaled the breaking of the doe's leg. Cetan let go, her dinner attempting to flee again, tripped not expecting it's now useless leg. Before the deer could try again, Cetan's jaws were around it's neck. Just a second later it was dead. She began eating, just enough to get some more strength. Once she had her fill, which wasn't much, she began dragging the rest of her meal back to the den to share with her pack, and save for later.
